2001
The 20s30s group evolved from the original Brighton and Hove Ramblers. This group was originally called Brambles (from baby and ramblers). This new group offered walks for people in their 20s and 30s and later started to offer social activities as well. The group later reverted the 20s30s name in line with Ramblers Association conventions, as many more 20s30s groups appeared around the country.
 
 
2004
The 40s group was started to offer walks to members in their 40s and 50s, which was seen as a gap between the younger 20s30s group and the older members from the original general group. This group has grown in numbers and also now offers social activities as well as regular walks.
 
 
2007

With both the 20s30s group and the 40s group growing in popularity and offering walks, social activities and even weekends away, we decided that our IT systems needed a bit of an update. We will be launching our new website in Jan 2008. You can get a preview of the new website, which is still under construction, at the following location:
